Key
Responsibilities:
· Carry out troubleshooting, diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and overhauls of diesel generators, HVAC systems, industrial laundry equipment, and other engineering products within the workshop.
· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
· Inspect equipment, identify faults, and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
· Prepare technical service reports, repair estimates, and workshop documentation.
· Ensure all workshop jobs are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
· Coordinate with the Manager – After Sales Service & Workshop to ensure timely completion of repair work.
· Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and housekeeping in line with company procedures.
· Provide technical support to field service engineers and attend customer sites when required.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality management procedures.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), NVQ Level 6/7, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in workshop repairs, maintenance, or after-sales service of industrial equipment.
· Experience with Diesel Generators, HVAC Systems, Industrial Laundry Equipment, Pumps, Compressors, or similar industrial machinery will be a distinct advantage.
· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
· Good communication, reporting, and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
· A valid Sri Lankan driving licence will be an added advantage.
