Responsibilities:
· Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on water supply, drainage, and pipeline works.
· Review and draft contract agreements, specifications, and procurement plans, ensuring compliance with water sector regulations and industry standards.
· Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments to optimize project feasibility and budget efficiency.
· Coordinate with design teams, engineers, and suppliers to obtain accurate cost data and competitive quotations.
· Provide technical support during the bidding process and assist in contract negotiations for water infrastructure projects.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (professional certification preferred).
· 03–04 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on water-related construction and NWSDB projects.
· Strong understanding of water supply systems, drainage, pipeline installations, and civil construction methodologies.
· Proficiency in quantity surveying software, contract administration, and cost estimation.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
· Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and contract terms related to water infrastructure projects.
