SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER – MEP
📍 Location: Bangladesh
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage MEP project activities, ensuring timely execution while maintaining compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project progress and adherence to design standards.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications for MEP systems to meet project requirements.
- Monitor site activities, ensuring safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices are upheld.
- Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and oversee procurement of MEP materials and equipment.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to site teams for seamless MEP installations.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation to stakeholders, ensuring transparency on project milestones and challenges.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory standards and international best practices in MEP engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve overall project goals efficiently.
Qualifications & Requirements:
✔ Age: 30 – 45 years.
✔ Educational Background: Bachelor's degree, HND, HNDE, or ITI in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. PMP/ACP certification will be an added advantage.
✔ Experience: Minimum 8-10 years as a Project Engineer in a similar capacity within a construction or MEP environment.
✔ Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering tools.
✔ Communication & Negotiation: Strong ability to build relationships with consultants, contractors, and clients while managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
✔ Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with strong interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
