As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Manager - Tenders to lead our tendering processes and secure key business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end tender process, from identifying opportunities to preparing and submitting bids within deadlines.
- Develop comprehensive proposals, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Manage supplier registrations and prequalification processes, ensuring annual renewals and compliance with company and government standards.
- Maintain CIDA/ICTAD registration records to ensure all tenders comply with industry regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison for procurement, legal, finance, and engineering teams, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Monitor the progress of tenders, ensuring timely delivery within budget while identifying process improvements.
- Handle government correspondence and official communications related to tenders.
- Provide training and leadership to staff involved in the tender process, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders to secure new business opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Age: Below 45 years.
- Experience: 4-5 years in tender management within the engineering or construction industry, with a proven track record.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of local tender processes and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth tender execution.
