 Position: HR Assistant

Colombo, Sri Lanka
 Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

· Provide Administrative Support: Offer administrative assistance to the HR Department, ensuring the confidentiality of all HR activities and employee information.

· Draft Official Correspondence: Prepare and draft official letters, memos, and other documents as required by the HR team.

· Manage Visa Applications: Oversee the visa application processes, including gathering necessary documentation, communicating with embassies, and ensuring timely submissions.

· Handle Travel Arrangements: Manage travel arrangements for employees, including booking tickets, planning itineraries, and coordinating with travel agencies to secure favorable rates.

· Maintain Employee Records: Update and maintain employee records and HR databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

· Assist in HR Events: Support in scheduling and organizing HR events, meetings, and training sessions as required.

· Participate in HR Projects: Provide assistance in HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the successful implementation of HR strategies and programs.

· Respond to Employee Queries: Answer employee queries and respond to emails promptly, providing information and assistance as needed.

· Document Filing: Manage document filing processes, ensuring proper organization and accessibility of HR-related files and records.

 

Qualifications:

·         Following or completed a Degree in Human Resources, or a related field.

·         1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity.

·         Strong communication and letter drafting skills.

·         Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HRIS systems.

·         Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.

·         Experience in handling visa and travel arrangements would be an added advantage.
