The Role
This is a senior leadership position for a commercially astute professional who thrives in a projectdriven environment. As Head of Sales, you will be at the forefront of NativeWay's growth in Sri Lanka, owning the full sales cycle — from strategy and business development through to contract closure. You will lead a capable sales team, build lasting client relationships, and play a key role in shaping the company's market position in the MEP and construction sectors.
What You Will Do
• Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive project revenue and exceed targets across the MEP sector.
• Lead and mentor the sales team to identify, pursue, and successfully close major projects in Generators, HVAC, and Fire Systems.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key industry stakeholders.
• Take ownership of the Maldives market — overseeing sales operations, identifying opportunities, and ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
• Actively participate in client negotiations, project bidding, and contract management.
• Work closely with technical teams to craft compelling, client-specific solutions.
• Monitor market trends, track competitor activity, and continuously identify new business opportunities.
What We Are Looking For
• A degree in Business Management; a Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification is a strong advantage.
• A background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering is highly preferred.
• 7+ years of proven sales leadership experience in the construction or MEP industry, with a strong track record in project sales.
• Practical knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering systems is a distinct advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and manage complex, large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
