As we expand, we are looking for a skilled MEP Design & Estimation Engineer to strengthen our team.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Estimation
- Develop comprehensive designs for MEP systems, including:
- Electrical: MV, LV, ELV
- Mechanical: HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for tender submissions.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Analyze tender documents to identify technical requirements and constraints.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for accurate cost assessments.
Tender Preparation
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders.
- Evaluate tender specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Generate regular status reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tender documents.
Technical Expertise & Leadership
- Stay updated on MEP engineering advancements and technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 5-8 years in MEP system design and estimation.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of electrical (MV, LV, ELV) and mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) systems.
- Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in design software relevant to both disciplines.
- Skills:
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in team leadership is a plus.
