We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer – Fire & Plumbing to join our team. The role focuses on design, system reviews, and value engineering to deliver efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.

 Location: Colombo 10 | Sri Lanka

 Key Responsibilities

·        Design and optimize fire protection, fire detection, and plumbing systems, including utility plumbing, water treatment, and steam distribution.

·        Review existing designs, identify shortcomings, and recommend effective improvements.

·        Apply value engineering to improve efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

·        Ensure compliance with NFPA fire safety/detection standards, plumbing codes, and local/international regulations.

·        Collaborate with consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to implement integrated design solutions.

·        Provide technical guidance during tendering and execution stages.

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.

·        Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in designing fire protection, fire detection, and plumbing systems.

·        Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and related codes.

·        Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design tools.

·        Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
