 CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)

NativeWay is a leading engineering firm specializing in the supply and installation of Diesel Generators and Commercial Air Conditioning systems, along with comprehensive MEP construction services (including Fire installations, ELV installations, and electric installations), is seeking an energetic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our dynamic team.

 Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Provide effective and inspiring leadership by being actively involved in all programs and services. Implement and lead a continuous quality improvement process throughout the company and service areas, focusing on systems/process improvement.
  2. Operational Management: Oversee the overall operational planning, management, and execution of all engineering projects. Ensure that project milestones are met and adhere to approved budgets.
  3. Team Management: Manage and lead a high-performing team. Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals.
  4. Business Development: Actively engage in industry networking to generate new business leads. Enhance and develop policies, procedures, and service systems to meet the goals of the organization.
  5. Client Relations: Ensure client satisfaction by analyzing complaints, concerns, and suggestions and providing appropriate follow-through.
  6. Financial Oversight: Oversee the financial status of the organization including developing long and short-range financial plans, monitoring the budget, and ensuring sound financial controls are in place.

 Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the engineering sector focusing on Diesel generators, Air Conditioning systems, and MEP construction.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, strategic thinking, and problem-solving acumen.
  • Energy and Drive: High level of energy and enthusiasm, with a strong commitment to exceeding client expectations.
