Who We’re Looking For:
l Age: Below 35 years.
l Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a full/part qualification from CA-Sri Lanka, CIMA, or ACCA
l experience will be an added advantage.
l Technical Skills: Familiarity with ERP software is preferred.
l Expertise: Strong knowledge of product costing, feasibility studies, process improvements, internal controls, pricing, variance analysis against budgets, and analysis of differences.
l Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll work closely with our Finance Team, handling tasks like:
l Financial Management: Manage bank accounts, petty cash, stocks, debtors, and creditors, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records while complying with accounting standards.
l Cost and Efficiency Optimization: Implement cost management strategies, enforce internal controls, and identify opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency.
l Reconciliation and Reporting: Perform bank reconciliations and prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and forecasts for informed decision-making.
l Audit and Taxation Support: Prepare final accounts for audits and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external institutions as required.
l Inventory Control: Monitor income and expenditure while maintaining effective inventory management systems.
l Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes to maintain cash flow and ensure timely payments.
Note: Responsibilities will be allocated based on the position and level assigned within the Accounts team, ensuring alignment with the candidate’s expertise and the organization’s requirements.
